FAQs

Can I purchase advance tickets for a movie?
Yes. In most cases, tickets are available four days before the movie opens. Of course, for the expected blockbusters, tickets go on sale much sooner. Advance tickets may be purchased at the box office. But remember, advance ticket purchases guarantee you a seat but not necessarily the seat of your choice or a group of seats together. Please arrive at the theater with time to get that perfect spot.
Does Star Cinema accept credit cards?
Yes. Star Cinema accepts Mastercard, Visa, and Discover cards.
How can I purchase gift cards?
A Star Cinema gift card, or "Star Card", can be purchased online or at the Star Cinema box office. Star Cards are available in $5 increments and can be used for admission or concession items.
Do you offer a customer appreciation program?
Yes. The "Star Card" is not only a gift card but can also be used as your "frequent flyer" card. Just pick one up at no charge at the Star Cinema box office and begin earning points with each ticket purchase. Points add up towards free concession items.
Does Star Cinema make donations?

Can my children see R-rated films at your theater?
If your child is 17 years old, he/she is allowed into an R-rated movie. Under 17 years old, you must accompany the child to the theater and purchase the ticket. We do not allow any child under 6 years of age into an R-rated film - whether you are with them or not. Our ticket seller will ask for ID if child appears to be under 17 years old.
How long will a movie play at the theater?
Most often, that's the decision of Star Cinema customers. The more successful the film, the longer it will stay. The "Coming Movies" schedule is updated each Tuesday morning.
How come a movie I've been waiting for hasn't played at Star Cinema yet?
We do try to show the widest variety of movies at Star Cinema. Unfortunately, the movie studios have the final say in what goes where. Limited releases are quite common and some movies are not available for smaller markets. In some instances, when the film is finally available for all markets, interest has waned, many more movies have opened, and we just don't have screen capacity to show it.
